chicago bears
Round 1: WR Quentin Johnston, TCU
Round 2: EDGE Tuli Tuipulotu, USC; CB Julius Brents, Kansas
Round 3: CB Tre’Vius Hodges—Tomlinson, TCU
The offensive line is the trendy option for the Bears at No. 9 overall, but I believe to know exactly what they have in quarterback Justin Fields, they need to surround him as much as possible.
Adding Johnston to a group that already included DJ Moore, Chase Claypool and Darnell Mooney did just that. The TCU receiver has 19 tackles for loss on 60 receptions in 2022, and he has scored above 70.0 in every year of his three-year collegiate career.
Their three picks in the 2nd and 3rd rounds allowed them to add more talent defensively, including Bruntz, who was an explosive athlete in the NFL Combine in Indianapolis. Test, and allowed just 24 catches in 449 coverages last season.

detroit lions
Round 1: DI Jalen Carter, Georgia; CB Joey Porter Jr., Penn State
Round 2: EDGE Felix Anudike-Uzomah; CB Tyrique Stevenson, Miami (FL)
Round 3: WR Michael Wilson, Stanford
The ideal situation for the Detroit Lions at No. 6 would be for all four of their top quarterbacks to be selected in the top five, guaranteeing them a chance to beat Carter or Alabama edgeback Will Anderson Jr. Carter’s 92.3 PFF grade is among the best 2022 draft-eligible interior defenders.
The Lions have added to their defensive backfield this offseason, but the temptation to add someone like Porter here is too great. The Penn State corner has a career-high 77.4 PFF coverage grade, allowing just 15 receptions in 275 reported snaps in 2022.

green bay packers
Round 1: TE Dalton Kincaid, Utah
Round 2: EDGE Will McDonald IV, Iowa; DI Mazi Smith, Michigan; WR Nathaniel Dell, Houston
Round 3: QB Tanner McKee, Stanford
Maybe the New York Jets did send a first-round pick to Green Bay for quarterback Aaron Rodgers, but the fact that New York recently traded WR Elijah Moore for a second-round pick has me thinking for two seconds whether- maybe there is A few extra conditional picks — likely what got the deal done, allowing the Packers to add more talent to the front seven in McDonald and Smith.
Picking Kincaid in the first round would make new starting quarterback Jordan Love the most receiving tight end in this draft class, with the Utah standout leading all positions with a 91.8 receiving grade last season.

minnesota vikings
Round 1: WR Jordan Addison, USC
Round 2: CB Garrett Williams, Syracuse
Addison didn’t surprise anyone with his athletic testing this spring, but he didn’t disappoint either. He’s had a receiving grade of 82.0 or better each of the past two seasons and threw just two of his 61 catchable passes last season.
The Vikings added cornerback this offseason, but Williams felt valuable in the second round because he allowed just 14 receptions for 170 snaps before a season-ending injury.
